Day 2 - Cherry Blossoms

Shinjuku Gyoen

One of Tokyo's best cherry blossom spots. Flat paths, many benches, a lovely tea house. Perfect for a relaxed sakura stroll. No alcohol allowed = peaceful atmosphere.

Chidorigafuchi Moat

Stunning cherry blossom tunnel along the Imperial Palace moat. The short walkway is paved and flat — perfect for a gentle stroll.

Tokyo Midtown Hibiya

Modern complex with restaurants and shops. Nice lunch stop between Chidorigafuchi and Shinagawa.

Day 3 - Asakusa & Skytree

Senso-ji

Tokyo's oldest and most famous temple. The approach through Kaminarimon gate and Nakamise street is iconic. Flat ground throughout.

Nakamise Street

The traditional shopping street leading to Senso-ji. Snacks, souvenirs, and street food. Fun to browse at a slow pace.

Tokyo Skytree

Japan's tallest structure with panoramic views. Solamachi shopping complex at the base has great lunch options. Easy to reach from Asakusa.

Day 4 - Meiji Shrine & Shibuya

Meiji Jingu

Serene Shinto shrine surrounded by forest in the heart of Tokyo. Shaded, flat gravel paths. A peaceful escape from the city buzz.

Shibuya Scramble Square

Modern high-rise right above Shibuya Station. Great food floors for lunch and shopping. Shibuya Sky observation deck is on top.

Shibuya Sky

Open-air rooftop observation deck atop Shibuya Scramble Square. Incredible 360° views of Tokyo. Book tickets online in advance.

Day 5 - Osaka Day Trip

Dotonbori

Osaka's most vibrant food street. Neon signs, canal views, takoyaki, and okonomiyaki. Flat and bustling — the heart of Osaka street culture.

Osaka Castle Park

Outer gardens only — flat paths and cherry trees around the castle moat. Great for photos without needing to climb to the keep.

Umeda Sky Building

Futuristic twin towers connected by a floating garden observatory. Stunning sunset views. There's an elevator and escalator to the top — no stairs required.

Tempozan Ferris Wheel

One of Japan's largest Ferris wheels, right on the Osaka waterfront. A relaxing ride with bay views.

Day 6 - Imperial Palace & Ginza

Imperial Palace East Gardens

Beautiful free gardens on the former Edo Castle grounds. Flat, well-maintained paths. Note: closed Mondays and Fridays — check before visiting!

Ginza

Tokyo's upscale shopping and dining district. Wide sidewalks, department stores, cafes. Great for a leisurely afternoon.

Day 7 - Odaiba

DiverCity Tokyo Plaza

Large shopping mall in Odaiba featuring the life-size Gundam statue out front. Food court and shops inside.

Aqua City Odaiba

Waterfront shopping mall with Rainbow Bridge views. Many restaurants and shops. A relaxing spot to browse.

teamLab Planets

Immersive digital art museum. Involves wading through knee-deep water and walking barefoot on uneven surfaces — check if comfortable at 30 weeks pregnant.

Hamarikyu Gardens

Beautiful Edo-era garden with a tea house floating on a pond. Flat paths, lots of benches, and cherry trees in April. Right next to Ginza — perfect to pair with your Imperial Palace + Ginza day.

Ueno Park

Tokyo's biggest cherry blossom spot. Flat paths, tons of benches, Shinobazu Pond, and museums nearby (Tokyo National Museum if parents are into history). Easy JR access from Shinagawa.

Kitte Marunouchi

Former central post office turned shopping complex right across from Tokyo Station. Free rooftop terrace with views of the station's gorgeous red brick facade. Great restaurants inside too.

Tsukiji Outer Market

The original fish market area still has an amazing outer market. Fresh sushi, tamagoyaki, street snacks, and matcha treats. Flat, easy browsing. Walking distance from Ginza.

Sumida Park

Cherry blossom trees lining the Sumida River, right next to Asakusa. Flat riverside path with gorgeous Skytree views through the blossoms. A natural extension of your Asakusa day.

Yoyogi Park

Huge park right next to Meiji Shrine with wide-open cherry blossom lawns. Perfect for a picnic or just resting on the grass. Completely flat. Pairs naturally with your Meiji Shrine day.

teamLab Borderless (Azabudai Hills)

The new permanent teamLab museum. Unlike Planets, no water wading or wet uneven floors — it's all dry, flat, and air-conditioned. Much more pregnancy-friendly! Could be a swap for Planets.

Day 1 - Arrival & Shinagawa

Shinagawa Prince Hotel

Home base for the entire trip. Right next to Shinagawa Station — great access to JR lines and shinkansen.

Tsubame Grill

Classic yoshoku (Japanese-Western) restaurant near Shinagawa. Known for their hamburg steak wrapped in foil. Reliable, hearty, and a great easy dinner option.
