Delete your Ikuzo account
How to delete your Ikuzo account, what gets deleted, what is kept, and how to change your mind.
You can delete your Ikuzo account at any time, from the website or the apps.
How to delete it
On the website: sign in at ikuzo.app, open your account from your avatar at the top right, go to the Profile tab, then press Delete my account.
In the iPhone or Android app: open Settings, then Delete my account (arriving with the next app updates; until then, use the website or e-mail).
By e-mail: if you can no longer sign in, write to [email protected] from the address of your account, and we will do it for you.
You are signed out everywhere right away, and we send you an e-mail to confirm.
What gets deleted
- Your account: e-mail address, nickname, avatar, preferences and password.
- Your maps, spots, travel plans and photos.
- Maps you bought from creators: you lose access to them.
Your account is erased 30 days after your request, and your maps, spots and photos within the following 30 days.
What is kept
- Purchase records (what was bought, the price, the date and the country), because accounting law requires us to keep them.
- Maps you shared with other people stay with them only if they made their own copy.
Changed your mind?
Sign in before the 30 days are over and the deletion is cancelled. Nothing is lost.
Creators
If you sell maps on Ikuzo, your account cannot be deleted from the settings, because buyers depend on your maps. Contact us and we will close it with you.
